SociallyRise Leads is a B2B lead discovery tool that helps users find publicly listed local businesses. All business information displayed on our platform — including business names, phone numbers, websites, addresses, operating hours, and ratings — is retrieved exclusively through the Google Places API.

We do not crawl, scrape, copy, or harvest information from any website, directory, or platform without permission. We do not use automated bots to extract data outside of sanctioned API channels.

3. Information We Collect About You

We collect the following categories of personal information:

a) Account Registration Data

• Full name
• Email address
• Encrypted password (we never store plain-text passwords)

b) Usage & Activity Data

• Search queries you perform (location, category, radius)
• Number of leads viewed or exported per session
• Feature interactions (projects saved, history accessed)
• IP address (used solely for fair-usage rate limiting and abuse prevention)
• Browser type and operating system (standard server log data)

c) Cookies & Local Storage

• Session cookie — keeps you logged in during your session.
• Device fingerprint cookie (sr_device_uid) — a randomly generated, non-identifying token stored in your browser for up to 1 year. This is used solely to enforce fair-usage quotas and prevent abuse of the free tier across multiple accounts on the same device.
• Theme preference — remembers your light/dark mode preference.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Deliver the lead discovery and export features you request
• Enforce fair-usage limits (50 leads per 6-hour cycle per user)
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Respond to your support inquiries
• Send transactional emails (password reset, account notifications)
• Improve the stability, security, and performance of our platform
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

We do not use your personal information for behavioral advertising, profiling, or to build marketing audiences for third parties.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (name, email, password hash) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Search history logs associated with your account are deleted within 90 days of account deletion.

Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (e.g., total searches per day, total leads generated) that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for platform performance purposes.

We take data security seriously and implement the following measures:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS (enforced via Cloudflare).
• Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — we never have access to your plain-text password.
• Sessions are secured with HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite cookies.
• CSRF protection on all forms and API endpoints.
• Database access is restricted to application-layer only, with no public exposure.
• Rate limiting and IP-based abuse detection are in place.

While we implement industry-standard security practices, no system can guarantee 100% security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
